DIRECTIONS

The property is called “The Missions 1937” it has 3 kilometres of river frontage and is located along the river road between Wisemans Ferry and Spencer. Simply cross the main ferry at Wisemans Ferry and when alighting turn right and head for Spencer and the property is located on the right hand side of the road as you negotiate a sharp left hand bend some 5 miles (8 kms) from the ferry.

ABOUT THE DAY

A repeat of last year’s event will be run at The Missions in Gunderman alongside the Hawkesbury River near Wisemans Ferry. This year we are hoping for far less wind and more planes coming in and taking off on the grass airstrip than we saw last year.

Roy has a collection of vintage aeroplanes and on the day his friends and their vintage aircraft will be flying in to join us. The Bridge City Jazz Band will be present to add to the atmosphere on the day. 

This is a very special BYO picnic and drinks day. 

Primrose and Roy Fox, our hosts and the owners of The Missions, will again provide a complimentary afternoon tea in the large purpose built function centre/hanger near the house from 2 pm onwards. 

Entry fees will be donated to the Salvation Army Children’s Christmas Appeal and the Woman’s Refuge. 

So mark the date down on your calendar, arrive at The Missions about 10.30am and enjoy a great day out.

Come enjoy the magnificent vintage cars, vintage planes, music and marvellous location.
