The VSCCA has obtained permission to hold our Closing Rally at the now defunct Maroubra Raceway on Sunday, 7 December to mark the 100th Anniversary of the opening of the Raceway.

Maroubra Raceway was hugely important to the competition scene and social history of this city, state and country.

Several current club cars were competitors at this raceway, notably Tim Shellshear’s Mercedes Crossley and John Wilson’s Alvis 12/50.

We will try to get as many Maroubra cars (or exemplars) as we can in attendance.
