VSCCA BATHURST RACE CAMP CAMPING WEEKEND

We ask for your expression of interest in the VSCCA Bathurst Race Camp to be held on 13-16 February 2026.
For those who have not been before:
The Campsites
1. Campsite cost is $260 per site. One vehicle per site. You can have four people per site. (PS If you have more, we can work something out.)
2. The organisers aim to arrive by 4 pm on Friday, 13 February, and you are free to stay until Monday morning, when we will be departing.
3. You can have access to your campsite/grounds from Wednesday, 11 February 2026, but everyone generally turns up on the Friday.
Don’t forget your tent!
The Dinners
The organisers provide dinner and good wine each night. The idea is to bring people together in a communal situation. The meals are:
Friday night – seafood fresh from the markets – oysters, prawns, smoked salmon, mussels, bread and salad.
Saturday night - curry night with all accompaniments.
Sunday night - pasta night.
The dinner cost is $35 per person per dinner including wine. Children under 14 years and junior members of the VSCCA and $10 per junior member/child per dinner.
All excess proceeds (if any!) go to the Club coffers to promote historic motorsport.
On site parking – preference given to “proper cars”
The Facilities
1. We will have a port-a-loo on site.
2. There are taps with potable water nearby but no power.
3. We will have a TV in the mess tent to watch the race.
4. Bring your own beer (or other beverage) in cans. There are daily limits. No glass.
5. There are showers and a toilet block nearby.
6. We have tea and coffee making facilities available in the mess tent.
7. There are various food stalls around the track.
Saturday Run
There will be an 80 km car run on Saturday morning, and we will stop at “The Hub” in Rocket Street for breakfast. Limit of 20 people for a booking. This is a 7.30 departure (sharp). Let us know as soon as possible if you wish to attend this.
What You Need To Do
1. Bring camping gear and knife, fork and spoon, plate, cup is NOT provided.
2. You will need to buy event tickets for each attendee. This can be done online.
3. Fill out the form and return to morris@jackshand.com.au.
How to Pay
Make your payment to the VSCCA account. Please mark your payment for the campsite and dinner for each person [NAME] Batcamp.
