This weekend offers driving on great country roads and winter camping on a scenic river nestled near the Blue Mountains, just a 3-hour scenic drive from Sydney. 

There is no planned route as we intend to drive according to the conditions of the day and the roads. The campground is well placed to enjoy the lovely, quiet roads around the Lithgow, Bathurst, Sofala, and Mudgee districts.  

We will have a communal cook-up in the evenings, and you will be asked to contribute to the cost (probably about $35).

Accommodation

Turon Gates Resort has unpowered camp sites ($50/night = $100 for 2 nights). There is also glamping and cabin accommodation available, if preferred.

NOTE: Last year's event was cancelled and some of you will have paid deposits. These deposits will be honoured by Turon Gates for this year's camping weekend.

• So, if you paid a deposit last year, don't pay again this year.
