MEET: 8.00AM at Cowan Rest Area and Truck Stop.
The club will be serving tea, coffee and scones from 8 to 8.45AM.
START: 9.00AM sharp.
DESTINATION: Monte Pio, Maitland. This is the old orphanage building, now a Mercure Hotel, and is the designated hotel for the Club dinner and accommodation.
Via quiet Hunter Valley roads, avoiding traffic and main roads. Route Notes will be provided prior to rally. Note: Some sections are unsealed, but none of these sections are rough – just nice country roads. All unsealed sections have alternative parallel sealed routes which lead to the same way points.
The VSCCA Club entry fee is $30 per car (payable to Club prior to event).
Lunch (Soup, bread & salad or Chicken Cassoulet & salad) at the Laguna Trading Post will be a set price of $22 per head (payable to Club prior to event).
On arrival in the Monte Pio car park, drinks and nibbles will be provided (included in entry fee).
The Club dinner will be afterwards in the dining room at Monte Pio.
The dinner will be a carvery buffet at a set price of $45 per head (payable to Club prior to event).
Members must book their own accommodation at Monte Pio in advance. Rooms are set aside for Club members but you must book quickly. Please advise them that you are with the VSCCA Club event. Also, advise any dietary requirements at time of booking.

Breakfast is available at Monte Pio at additional cost. However, as the rally’s Sunday morning return route starts at the nearby historic town of Morpeth, participants can have breakfast there instead. It’s up to you.
Payment into the VSCCA account is required prior to the event for your entry, lunch and dinner so that we can pay for the catering on your behalf.
You can pay by EFT directly into the VSCCA Club account. Identify any EFT payment with “MTN & your name”.

The aim of the organisers is to stay off high speed, main and busy roads. The route notes will specify some roads with dirt sections - none rough or too long - but expect either dust or mud. There are always macadamed alternatives to the same places. It's up to you.
