The George Green Rally
Monday 3 - Friday 7 november 2025
The VSCCA are very pleased to present an outline for the George Green Rally for 2025.
Day 1: Monday 3 November - Travel to Jindabyne from Goulburn
The 2025 George Green rally will start from the Goulburn Mercure. Starting from Goulburn will allow those who do not want to travel as far on Day 1 to have the opportunity to stay at the Goulburn Mercure on Sunday, 2nd November.
For those travelling from Sydney, we plan to leave from the Mercure Goulburn in the morning after coffee and breakfast. The time will be confirmed in the rally information trip notes.
We will arrive in the afternoon at the Horizons Lakeside Resort in Jindabyne for the evening stay.
Day 2: Tuesday 4 November – Jindabyne to Cootamundra
From Jindabyne, we will head to the Tumut 3 Power Statio at Talbingo to take in the view of a turn-of-the-century working high country pump power station. The final leg of the day will take us via Gundagai and then on to the Cootamundra Heritage Motel for an evening stay.
These will be some of the best driving roads that our country has to offer and should not be missed!
Day 3: Wednesday 5 November - Cootamundra to Bathurst
Our first stop will be the Temora Air Museum, Temora then over some great country roads and long straights through Cowra and onto Rydges Hotel, Mount Panorama for the evening stay.
Day 4: Thursday 6 November – Bathurst to Sydney
On the final day, travel home at your leisure; otherwise, the rally organisers will also provide suggested route notes for those wanting to take a more leisurely drive home in convoy to Sydney.
There will be some wonderful back roads on offer from Bathurst and into the Lithgow Tin Shed for morning tea / lunch before those choosing their final leg home via the Bells Line or Great Western Highway.
