How the weekend works

Dinners

The idea is to bring people together in a communal situation.

  • Friday night – seafood fresh from the markets – oysters, prawns, smoked salmon, mussels, bread and salad.

  • Saturday night - curry night with all accompaniments.

  • Sunday night - pasta night.

Cost of Dinners

  • $35 per person per dinner including wine.

  • $10 per junior member/child per dinner.

Saturday Breakfast Run

There will be an 80 km old car run on Saturday morning, and we will stop at “The Hub” on Rocket Street for breakfast. Limit of 20 people per booking. Departure is at 7.30 (sharp). Let us know as soon as possible if you wish to attend.

All excess proceeds (if any!) go to the Club coffers to promote historic motorsport.

The Facilities

On-site parking – preference given to “proper cars”.

  • We will have a port-a-loo on site.

  • There are taps with potable water nearby but no power.

  • We will have a TV in the mess tent to watch the race.

  • Bring your own beer (or other beverage) in cans. There are daily limits. No glass!

  • Showers and a toilet block are nearby.

  • We have tea and coffee making facilities available in the mess tent.

Various food stalls are available around the track.
